Sydney Office

Located 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD, our Chatswood office wedding location is the most affordable way to get your legal paperwork done. No fuss, no frills, just a simple and streamlined way to make it official. Perfect for couples having another ceremony that will be the one they always remember as their 'wedding day' we regularly look after couples here who just need to do the official aspects of a legal marriage, and will have their big day elsewhere. Also perfect for couples in a hurry, or who simply don't want a fuss.

Location Highlights: Available after hours, this is a convenient choice for couples who need to take the drama out of the ceremony. The ceremony will take place in a pretty courtyard (unless it's raining, in which case it will be indoors.) Easy and super affordable.

Local features: Conveniently located for public transport and with easy street parking.

Important things to note: This is a home office / courtyard in a private residential area. Strictly 2 witnesses/guests only in addition to the couple. Not suitable for professional photography or videography.  Specials available from $155.

Other locations to  consider: Just Married Weddings offers lots of great, romantic and beautiful outdoor locations for couples wanting something a bit more special than an office wedding. Still at an incredibly affordable price.  For a wedding day to remember check out our most popular location on the harbour,  one of our two epic beach wedding locations (northern beaches or eastern suburbs) or the stunning parks in Homebush, Petersham, Chatswood, Penrith or Parramatta.  For other cities Australia-wide check out our other locations.

Inner-West Park (Sydney)

No secret to the locals, Petersham Park has a lot going for it. When it comes to simple courthouse wedding alternative, the idyllic leafy park is the perfect place to say I Do. Afterwards you can celebrate at one of the Inner West's famous pubs/ bars or award winning restaurants.

Location Highlights: The natural ‘aisle’ created by gorgeous old trees is a great place for photos after your ceremony. On a quiet day, if the weather is less than ideal the rotunda is a brilliant place for you to make your love official.

Local features: Very close to rail and buses, and still with free street parking, convenience is a plus here. You can then head easily to a nearby venue - you are certain to find the perfect venue for your celebrations in this culinary district of Sydney.

Important things to note: This is a popular park so can get busy on weekends. We always find the quietest and prettiest place to hold your ceremony, and the park has lots of options, but this location is never without a few families or cricketers also making the most of all it has to offer.

Other locations to consider: All our locations are chosen to be great alternatives to a courthouse wedding / registry wedding, or for the suitability to an elopement style ceremony. Check out all out 8 Sydney locations and 15 others Australia wide.

Coffs Harbour, NSW

Our Coffs Harbour park location is perfect for anyone wanting a really relaxed wedding in a beautiful, peaceful location.  With some of the most stunning beaches in NSW, Coffs locals will be able to continue to enjoy their ceremony location on anniversaries (or just whenever) for years to come. Anyone eloping to the area will have the most magical and relaxed experience here.

Location Highlights: A quieter cousin to many of the more northerly elopement destinations, Coffs Harbour is perfect for couples wanting a stunning location, but want it all to themselves. Coffs is a sleepy town, but a stunning one.

Local features:  Not far from the ceremony location you will find the gorgeous Coffs Harbour Jetty, and break walls - these are great for photos.

Important things to note:  It can get hot in summer, so we recommend early morning or late evening ceremony times.

Other locations to  consider: Another great location on the NSW coast is Byron Bay.  For locations further afield, including QLD,  Canberra, Melbourne and Perth check our list of relaxed wedding locations.

Byron Bay, NSW

There is no comparison. Byron Bay is romance and relaxation combined, so why not have a romantic and relaxed wedding here. You’ll never forget a byron bay elopement and you certainly wont regret starting your happily ever after right here.

Location Highlights: Our Byron Bay location is chosen to make the most of the beautiful beaches that bring people to Bryon, while being a little further from the action so that you aren’t lost in a crowd while you say ‘I Do’. The vista is unforgettable, the perfect setting for the relaxed and romantic byron bay elopement you’ve dreamed of.

Local features: With convenient parking away from the surprising hustle and bustle of central Byron (yes, its not the sleepy town it once was) our beach location also has a wet weather back up option in case Byron isn’t turning on her charms on your wedding day.

Important things to note: The location is a short 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Byron Bay (don’t worry, it’s worth it to escape the crowds). This location is at its absolute best in the mornings, so if you're flexible with times we recommend earlier in the day. Parking is within a National Park so you will need an annual pass or day parking permit here.

Other places you might consider: Couples who are considering a Byron Bay elopement might also be interested in our Gold Coast elopement package, or one of the amazing beach locations we love in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.

Western Sydney Park (Homebush)

At all times of year this park is perfect for a stunning small wedding in Sydney. With a beautiful view in every direction, our ceremony location offers shade on sunny days, water views, a natural aisle of deciduous trees and even an epic water feature.

Location Highlights: This park has a lot of variety. In Autumn the leaves are colourful and crunchy, on a roasting Sydney day there is shade and even water fountains for the brave couple wanting to cool off after their ceremony. Kids love this park, so a great option if you have little ones.

Local features: Easily accessed from all over Sydney, Homebush Bay is close to trains and a surprisingly short drive from the CBD, Northern Suburbs and South West. Within the park there’s a popular cafe and restaurant.

Important things to note: This is a big park so make sure you check the map we send you closely before the big day – so you and your guests don’t get lost.

Other locations to consider: For a small wedding in Sydney also consider our Parramatta and Penrith locations, Kirribilli harbour-side location and the beaches (north and east).

Northern Beaches (Sydney)

This location is so magical it’s hard to imagine a better place for a relaxed and romantic Sydney beach wedding. You have the choice of getting married on the sand or on a grassy lookout with heavenly ocean views. Both options are truly special.

Location Highlights: At this location you have the choice of a true beach wedding right on the sand in a tiny little, relatively private area of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Or, you can keep your shoes on and just admire the view from the lookout while you say I Do.

Local features: This patch of the Northern Beaches isn’t as busy as many others, so you won’t be lost in a crowd. Parking is a little easier too! The area of beach we use is a small pocket of sand at one end of the main beach, separated from all the activity by a rock pool, so there’s a little more peace and quiet than you’d expect to find with a Sydney beach wedding. The grass area is also comparatively quiet.

Important things to note: This location is everyone’s favourite on a beautiful summers day. While there are undercover areas we use in poor weather if you have more than a handful of guests you may need umbrellas for them if it’s raining (the couple will be in the VIP sheltered space). While street parking is usually available nearby this area can get busy on sunny weekends and during special events.

Other locations to  consider: We also have another location for a Sydney beach wedding- in the eastern suburbs. For other non-beach options (which are probably more suitable in colder months) check out our most popular location on the harbour, or the stunning parks in Homebush, Petersham, Chatswood, Penrith or Parramatta.

North Shore Park (Sydney)

This little park in Chatswood is perfect for a simple wedding in Sydney. With a lot to offer in the way of diverse vegetation, a creek and a cute bridge, you're bound to love this little gem.

Location Highlights: Privacy and leafy peacefulness are the biggest appeal of the North Shore Park location. A bonus for those wanting really amazing photos is the ‘Tunnel of Love’ - an amazing tunnel  of wisteria.

Local features: Close to buses and trains and a variety of restaurants and cafes, choosing this location will ensure your wedding day transport and celebrations are smooth and relaxed.

Important things to note: If you aren’t bringing witnesses with you please note this park is very quiet so it can take a little time to find some passers-by to invite to be your witnesses. Best, if you can, to bring a couple of friends with you.

Other locations to consider: This location has limited availability. If your date isn't available be sure to consider our other beautiful locations for a simple wedding in Sydney. For  great parks consider Homebush or the Inner West, and for epic views and surprising privacy, consider the Harbour-side location.

Harbour-Side (Sydney)

The Sydney skyline and sparkling harbour is an unbeatable backdrop for Sydney micro-wedding. For fabulous views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge look no further than this ceremony location. With unexpectedly quiet surroundings, this jewel in Sydney’s crown does not disappoint.

Location Highlights: The view. The View. The View. If you want wedding photos that look like works of art you will find that here (don’t forget to book a professional). This location also has quite a large wet weather option for those who are worried about a Plan B.

Local features: Just one ferry, train or bus stop from the CBD, this location is convenient for elopements and locals alike. A short walk or ferry ride to some of Sydney’s top restaurants and bars, so you can celebrate in style and soak up more of the view.

Important things to note: Whilst street parking is usually available nearby, it can take a little extra time to park on weekends and during special events. You will need to allow time to get here and park if you are coming by private vehicle.

Other places you might consider: Couples who are considering a Sydney micro-wedding ceremony might also be interested in our beach locations, on the northside or in the east of Sydney.
