This location, in Brisbane’s West End, is centrally located for Brisbane locals – a lovely shady park with magnificent trees, right by the river.

Location Highlights: Orleigh Park’s majestic trees here make a glorious backdrop for your ceremony and your photos afterwards. They’re also a blessing on a hot summer’s day. The gently rustling leaves and soft sounds of the river create a peaceful escape from the nearby city – just right for tying the knot.

Local features: Being on the river is convenient for transport by ferry, and of course everyone loves getting married by the water. Additionally, West End offers easy access to nearby accommodations, restaurants, and transportation options, ensuring a smooth experience for you and your loved ones.

Important things to note: This is a long narrow park on the bend of the river. We usually use the central area for our ceremonies but if that’s otherwise occupied, we can find a quieter location further down the park. Your celebrant will make sure you have the best spot possible.

Exact ceremony location: At Just Married Weddings, we use set locations, but not always a fixed spot within those locations. This is because our experienced celebrants (and affiliated photographers) choose the best ceremony spot on the day, based on weather, lighting, time of day, and what else is happening nearby.

You’ll always receive clear meeting point instructions before your ceremony, and your celebrant will guide you from there. If you have a specific spot within the park in mind, simply let your celebrant know — they’ll do their best to accommodate it and ensure the best possible experience on the day.
