South Beach, Fremantle, is so beautiful we had to make it an option for our WA couples. It’s fun, quirky and pretty – the ideal place to get hitched.

Location Highlights: If you’re not a local you will be amazed at how beautiful these beaches are (and locals, your secret is out!). You won’t want your ceremony to end. With its natural beauty, serene atmosphere, and breathtaking views, Freo Beach sets the stage for a memorable celebration of your love.

Local features: Fremantle has the chilled-out vibe everyone wants for an elopement style wedding. And with the port nearby, there are some really funky photo ops. The surrounding area features a range of accommodation options, from boutique hotels to cozy beachfront cottages. Additionally, nearby restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues offer opportunities for post-ceremony celebrations and dining experiences to suit all tastes and budgets.

Important things to note: When Perth is hot it is very hot! In summer we recommend early morning weddings or late afternoon ceremonies if you don’t like being in the sunshine (or you might want to go for a dip in the ocean afterwards). Early morning or evening is a magical time to say I Do.

Exact ceremony location: At Just Married Weddings, we use set locations, but not always a fixed spot within those locations. This is because our experienced celebrants (and affiliated photographers) choose the best ceremony spot on the day, based on weather, lighting, time of day, and what else is happening nearby.

You’ll always receive clear meeting point instructions before your ceremony, and your celebrant will guide you from there. If you have a specific spot on Trigg Beach in mind, simply let your celebrant know in advance — they’ll do their best to accommodate it and ensure the best possible experience on the day.

Other places you might consider: We have a few options to choose from if you have your heart set on a micro wedding in Perth. In addition to Freo, we have a Trigg Beach location and closer to the CBD a Riverside wedding location. And of course, we have a variety of other ceremony locations all across Australia.
