With its stunning coastal beauty and golden sands, our ceremony locations is a stones throw from Bondi provides a picturesque backdrop that will make your wedding truly unforgettable. Hidden amongst the world- famous beaches of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Sydney-siders and elopers alike will love this quiet ceremony location with the most incredible view.

Location highlights:  We use a stunning headland location for our ceremonies – at the northern end of Maroubra.

It’s a bit of a hidden gem (shhhh) but if you’re up for a short scramble over the rocks you can have your ceremony in the most epic cliff top location. Private and other-worldly, your photos will be incredible and you will feel like the only people on earth.

You also have the choice to stay on the grassy, easily accessed hilltop with views over Sydney’s famous beaches.  For a seaside wedding in Sydney’s East you will be amazed at how much privacy this spot has (did we mention it’s a bit of a secret).  Oh, and it it’s raining, and you hire one of our partner photographers, ask them about the secret cave.

Local features: The cliff lines ’round this area are spectacular – so unique and perfect for photos. Then of course the beaches are world famous, so pop down onto the white sand for some of your photos before choosing one of the millions of amazing local restaurants to celebrate at.

Important things to note:  It can get chilly here in winter- there isn’t a lot of shelter from the wind. We suggest picking another one of our many amazing Sydney locations if you want a winter wedding.

Accessibility: There is a concrete path from the road to the grassy hilltop area we use for the ceremonies. It’s on a slope but suitable for most wheelchairs users and people with limited mobility (just let your celebrant know in advance that you won’t use the clifftop area for the ceremony).

Exact ceremony location: At Just Married Weddings, we use set locations, but not always a fixed spot within those locations. This is because our experienced celebrants (and affiliated photographers) choose the best ceremony spot on the day, based on weather, lighting, time of day, and what else is happening nearby.

You’ll always receive clear meeting point instructions before your ceremony, and your celebrant will guide you from there. If you have a specific spot on the headland in mind, simply let your celebrant know in advance — they’ll do their best to accommodate it and ensure the best possible experience on the day.
