Location highlights: Here at Oxley Beach you have the choice of getting married on the sand, on a picturesque white sandy beach with a turquoise ocean, or you can enjoy the same view from a grassy park land ceremony. Both are beautiful, so it’s a hard choice. Either way, the solitude and serenity, clear water and pristine sand will make your heart sing.

Local features: Port Macquarie isn’t as overrun by tourists as other destination wedding locations can be. You will feel like the only two love birds on the face of the earth.  Find a romantic BnB or a luxury resort and celebrate here for as long as you can.

Important things to note:  If you want to get married on the sand in summer try to choose a late afternoon, or maybe even a very early ceremony time. Or choose the grass ceremony option, where you can find some shade.

This is because our experienced celebrants (and affiliated photographers) choose the best ceremony spot on the day, based on weather, lighting, time of day, and what else is happening nearby.

You’ll always receive clear meeting point instructions before your ceremony, and your celebrant will guide you from there. If you have a specific spot on the beach or the grass in mind, simply let your celebrant know in advance — they’ll do their best to accommodate it and ensure the best possible experience on the day.
