Shellharbour, NSW

Just north of Kiama and south of Shellharbour, Bass Point is a magical patch of paradise by the sea. This sea-side location is perfect for a sweet and intimate elopement.

Location highlights:  This stretch of the coastline is spectacular, and a photographers dream. Share your elopement with family and friends by sharing you amazing ceremony images.

Local features: So close to a wide range of accommodation and hospitality options  - check out Kiama and Shellharbour for dining options.

South Coast (Batemans Bay)

Batemans Bay is one of the most popular destinations for elopements for a reason. A part of the world that everyone loves to visit, why not make this the destination for your elopement or micro-wedding.

Location Highlights: We love this little ceremony location, Maloneys Beach, hidden away enough to be romantic and perfect for an elopement, whilst right on the doorstep of Batemans Bay and all this region has to offer. You can get married on the sand or on the grass overlooking the beach.  Both are gorgeous.

Local features:  This region offers everything you need to make a special day, weekend or week. If you are eloping to the south coast, you can find luxury accommodation or camp in pristine nature. Or anything in between. Something for everyone here.

Important things to note: We suggest mornings or early evenings for this location if you want to be on the sand in high summer.

Wollongong, NSW

This location is one of the best places for a beach wedding in Wollongong.  With the choice of a stunning beach ceremony or a relaxed, leafy park setting, Illawarra locals will be able to continue to enjoy their ceremony location for years to come. Private, yet conveniently located for all the best restaurants and cafes, you will have your choice of a wide range of ways to celebrate after your ceremony.

Location Highlights: Wollongong's beaches are perfection, and the adjoining parkland is just as beautiful. Locals or elopers wanting a small wedding in Wollongong will find this spot ticks all the boxes.

Local features: Easy parking, close to popular reception venues and more casual dining options. Sky Diving into your ceremony also an option for the brave (or crazy).

Eastern Suburbs Beach (Sydney)

For a relaxed beach wedding in Sydney it's hard to go past a our amazing location hidden amongst the world famous beaches of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Sydney-siders and elopers alike will love this quiet ceremony location with the most incredible view.

Location Highlights: For a beach wedding in Sydney's East you will be amazed at how much privacy this spot has (it's a bit of a secret).  There is also a fairly large wet weather option here if Mother Nature doesn't behave on your ceremony day.

Local features: The cliff lines round this area are spectacular - so unique and perfect for photos.

Important things to note: The ceremony location here requires a short scramble over rocks. If you or any of your guests are mobility impaired please let us know and we will modify as necessary. Being the coast, the weather is a feature here. Unfortunately, summer storms or winter winds, while making for epic photos, are out of our control.

Brisbane Seaside Park

The Wynnam Foreshore is popular and picturesque. With ocean views, relaxed sea-side vibe and variety of local features with ceremony location is the perfect place for a relaxed and memorable ceremony. Your photos will be beautiful and you can celebrate afterwards in style- a much better option than a Brisbane registry wedding.

Location Highlights: This location has a lot of variety, so you’ll have a great spot for your ceremony regardless of the season and you’ll have a wide variety of scenery for your photos afterwards. The sea-side and leafy park feeling combine for the ultimate simple ceremony location - there's something for everyone here.

Local features: Surrounded by popular restaurants and cafes, you will  find somewhere just right for your celebrations after your ceremony.

Important things to note: The sea-side is always at the mercy of the elements, but we make the most of a covered area in the park in the event of rain. If you choose this in place of a Brisbane registry wedding be sure to book a photographer - as this is a very photogenic location.

Gold Coast, QLD

A Gold Coast wedding offers the perfect combination of romantic ceremony location and a place to celebrate afterwards. This location has it all - a big, wide, white beach and a sparkling sea.  No matter how you wish to celebrate your wedding you will find what you want on the Gold Coast of Queensland.

Location Highlights: The variety of cafes/ restaurants, pubs, bars and resorts to cater to any kind of reception or party you want to have to celebrate your marriage.

Local features: Even though the Gold Coast is a popular place there is enough magnificent scenery to go around. With endless beaches we can always find a quiet patch of sand for your ceremony.

Important things to note: Consider choosing an early morning or sunset start time for your Gold Coast wedding, as it can get hot on the sand in the middle of the day.

Melbourne Beach

Melbourne's striking coastline is famously popular with photographers, so it is the perfect place to get married in Melbourne.  Start your married life together with the relaxed feeling of your feet in the sand and the sea breeze in your hair, before taking a stroll along the foreshore and celebrating at one of the restaurants or bars near by.

Location Highlights:  The coastline here has something for everyone. The cliff lines, the white sandy beaches and the iconic Brighton Beach Huts will make for some #instaworthy shots of your wedding day.

Local features: Melbourne is jam packed with the country’s best restaurants, cafés and bars, so you certainly will be able to celebrate your wedding day however you please. The ceremony location is conveniently located for a variety of restaurants and bars, and public transport into the CBD.

Important things to note: While there's no guarantees with the weather, we find mornings are magical on the beach, and if you can catch the sunset the sky is pretty amazing, so consider an early morning or later afternoon appointment for your ceremony.

Perth Beach, WA

There is nothing quite like a Perth beach wedding. With the whitest sand and crystal clear aqua water you can not go wrong with a beach ceremony in this part of the world.

Location Highlights: If you're not a local you will be amazed at how beautiful these beaches are. You won't want your ceremony to end. And you should see the sunsets!

Local features: Perth is a really easy city to travel around, so the beaches are conveniently located for the CBD and anywhere else you may wish to celebrate after your ceremony.

Important things to note: When Perth is hot it is very hot! In summer we recommend early morning weddings or late afternoon ceremonies if you don't like being in the sunshine (or you might want to go for a dip in the ocean afterwards). Early morning or evening is a magical time to say I Do.

Moreton Bay, QLD

This Moreton Bay wedding location has incredible views. A micro-wedding in this beautiful and peaceful sea-side park will certainly make for great wedding day memories.

Location Highlights: With this location you will be able to enjoy a park ceremony right on the water with views across the bay. The sunsets here are incredible, so a twilight ceremony can be pure magic.

Local features: Lush green lawns, beautiful shady trees, tropical style palms, lovely little sandy beaches and views for miles. For a cute and romantic twist, you can visits the nearby Gollum Tree for some of your photos (Lord of the Wedding Rings). This spot its also close to a variety of great venues for receptions or more casual celebrations.

Important things to note: While a Moreton Bay wedding can be magical year-round, as with any sea-side ceremony location it can be subject to mother nature's whims. In peak summer we recommend early morning or late evening ceremonies.

Townsville, QLD

Location Highlights: Townsville is loved by locals and travellers alike for its relaxed and welcoming vibe. This sweet little seaside park is the perfect elopement destination in sunny QLD.

Important things to note:  In summer Townsville is hot and wet - we recommend keeping to the cooler months of the year if you have flexibility.

Port Elliot, SA

The stunning coastal town of Port Elliot is the most glorious location your wedding ceremony.  Just 82 kms from Adelaide, this majestic horseshoe shaped beach is overlooked by the lusciously bright and colourful Soldiers Memorial Rose Gardens.  This little pocket of the Fleurieu Peninsula is a holiday haven that absolutely buzzes in the summer.

Location Highlights: The town and it's scenery are like something from a fairy-tale. Port Elliot and it's bigger sister town of Victor Harbor, with a Horse Drawn Tram still running to Granite Island, where the Fairy Penguins reside amongst the Artistic sculptures scattered along the island's walking trail.

Local features: Glorious sandy beaches, rocky outcrops and manicured gardens create a joyous setting for your romantic little ceremony.

Important things to note: This location has limited availability. Book early to avoid disappointment.

South Coast (Berrara), NSW

Elopements on the South Coast of NSW are absolute perfection. Especially for couples from Sydney or Canberra who want to elope to a coastal location they can re-visit for holidays for years to come.

Location Highlights: Quiet enough to be intimate and romantic, but close enough to Vincentia, Sussex Inlet and Huskisson,  this location is chosen to give couples a variety of options for the events surrounding your I Do's. Perfect for nature lovers, surfers, foodies and those who call the South Coast home, there's nobody who won't love getting hitched on the South Coast.

Local features:  Rivers, beaches and nature abound. This is a very pretty place to tie the knot.

Important things to note: This ceremony will be performed on a beautiful shady, grassy area on the river. The beach is very close by, and perfect for your photos afterwards.

Central Coast, NSW

Eloping on the Central Coast is pure romance. There is no better option than this if you are wanting a simple and affordable beach ceremony.  You have the choice of getting married on the sand or the grass. You won't be disappointed with this stunning spot.

Location Highlights: Everyone loves the Central Coast. It's beautiful, it's romantic, it's relaxed. It was made for elopements!

Local features: This patch of the Central Coast is everything you picture when you think of this part of the world. You will be spoilt for choice with accommodation, food and beverage options. Not far from Sydney, you can elope here then return each year for your anniversary.

Important things to note: This location is everyone’s favourite on a beautiful summers day. While street parking is usually available nearby this area can get busy on sunny weekends and during special events. In peak summer, consider the earlier or later parks of the day for more comfortable conditions.

Northern Beaches (Sydney)

This location is so magical it’s hard to imagine a better place for a relaxed and romantic Sydney beach wedding. You have the choice of getting married on the sand or on a grassy lookout with heavenly ocean views. Both options are truly special.

Location Highlights: At this location you have the choice of a true beach wedding right on the sand in a tiny little, relatively private area of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Or, you can keep your shoes on and just admire the view from the lookout while you say I Do.

Local features: This patch of the Northern Beaches isn’t as busy as many others, so you won’t be lost in a crowd. Parking is a little easier too! The area of beach we use is a small pocket of sand at one end of the main beach, separated from all the activity by a rock pool, so there’s a little more peace and quiet than you’d expect to find with a Sydney beach wedding. The grass area is also comparatively quiet.

Important things to note: This location is everyone’s favourite on a beautiful summers day. While there are undercover areas we use in poor weather if you have more than a handful of guests you may need umbrellas for them if it’s raining (the couple will be in the VIP sheltered space). While street parking is usually available nearby this area can get busy on sunny weekends and during special events.
