With all the tranquility and luxury of a wine region, and a relaxed country atmosphere, you and your fiancé will want to stay forever. The ceremony is just the start of the adventure here; say I Do and then mosey along to the nearest cellar door, settle in and make a weekend of it in one of the many luxury accommodation options nearby.
Important things to note: This location has limited availability. Book early to avoid disappointment. Note that if there are internationally renowned performers on at the neighbouring Hope or Roche Estates traffic can be congested (one road in and out) - avoid those dates if you can.
Accessibility: Level access from parking, suitable for wheelchairs users and people with limited mobility.
Other locations to consider: We have several great locations in this area, including our Caves Beach location and our Newcastle park location. Of course we also have many great options in Sydney to consider, and other alternatives Australia-wide.
Port Elliot, SA
The stunning coastal town of Port Elliot is the most glorious location your wedding ceremony. Located in the Fleurieu Peninsula region of South Australia, it is just 85 kilometers south of Adelaide. This majestic horseshoe-shaped beach is overlooked by the lusciously bright and colourful Soldiers Memorial Rose Gardens - both are options for your ceremony - and our celebrants say this the best beach location in SA!
Location highlights: Stunning coastal views, with pristine white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters and unique rock formations make this location one our most photogenetic. You have the option here of a beach ceremony or one in a stunningly manicured park overlooking the sea. Both are exquisite.
Local features: The town and its scenery are like something from a fairy-tale. The grand Victorian-era buildings along The Strand, the main street, add to the town's unique character and charm. From Port Elliot you can enjoy the historic Cockle Train (a heritage railway and tourist drawcard) and breathtaking clifftop walks. You might even spot a whale gatecrashing your ceremony.
Important things to note: This location has limited availability. Book early to avoid disappointment. Please note that the summer holidays and easter school holidays are quite busy times of year in this part of the world. If you want your ceremony during this period we suggest early mornings. The rest of the year is very peaceful.
Accessibility: There are quite a few stairs to access this location.
Other locations to consider: Our Adelaide location is another South Australian option. Or for other stunning coastal elopement locations maybe take a look at our Byron Bay, Perth Beach and Melbourne Beach locations.

Elopements on the South Coast of NSW are absolute perfection. Especially for couples from Sydney or Canberra who want to elope to a coastal location they can re-visit for holidays for years to come.
Location Highlights: This is a very pretty place to tie the knot. We've chosen a little reserve adjacent to the quaint and peaceful lagoon, and just a few steps from the Ocean. The dunes and sandbars, native negotiation and romantic boardwalks will give you plenty opportunities to sneak off on your own for a quiet moment after your ceremony to enjoy the view. You might even want to let your photographer join you.
Local features: Quiet enough to be intimate and romantic, but close enough to Vincentia, Sussex Inlet and Huskisson, this location is chosen to give couples a variety of options for the events surrounding your I Do's. Perfect for nature lovers, surfers, foodies and those who call the South Coast home, there's nobody who won't love getting hitched on the South Coast.
Important things to note: This ceremony will be performed on a beautiful shady, grassy area. The beach is very close by, and perfect for your photos afterwards.
